I think that Miles Davis is trying to say that mistakes aren't necessarily mistakes as much as they are challenges. A mistake will almost always lead you in the direction you need to be eventually going, altough not always immediately. Realizing you made a mistake helps you find the correct solution to the problem. So, in a way mistakes are helpful and not mistakes at all.

i think Miles Davis is saying that that there are no mistakes, because from every mistake comes a learning experience.Once it is all said and done it was not a mistake at all, it was new knowledge learned and a new perspective on the situation.

I believe Miles Davis is trying to express that the decisions someone makes is part of learning experience a person goes through in life and that they shouldn't have the fear of making mistakes. Although certain decisions might not always be the best, the individual finds ways to deal with the situation and creates solution to overcome the issue. In other words, mistakes can create a positive learning experience.

I believe Miles Davis is arguing that mistakes aren't really mistakes. A mistake can have 1-100 consequences if not more, depending on big or small, but it can never have 0. This is because one outcome that's for certain is a lesson learned. So ultimately, mistakes allow us to learn and grow. And this, my friends, is why we should not fear them.

I think Miles Davis' argument is that mistakes are beneficial to us because we learn from our mistakes. Therefor there really is no mistake to be made and that we shouldn't fear them.

In Miles Davis quote, he states there are no mistake that are considered error because we often learn from out mistakes, so there is no need to fear mistakes because mistakes makes us stronger.

I believe that Miles Davis is implying here that mistakes are nonexistent, instead we have lessons. Lessons are what we need to grow as individuals, to learn and prosper. Through lessons we find our error and correct them, making them right. This is a positive thing, therefore there is no need for fear.

I think that Miles Davis argues that the life is full of mistakes. Therefore, if we are always afraid of make a mistake we do not live the life as it is.

I think that Miles Davis is just trying to say that there is no reason to fear mistakes because you can only learn from them.

I think Miles Davis is trying to say that you can always learn from your mistakes and improve yourself. To improve yourself you have to fail first. As an individual we need to learn how to fail then succeed. We learn from our mistakes; if you succeed each time then you'll never learn.

If you go on in life always in fear of making a mistake, then what kind of life would you live? Practically a non-existent one. Mistakes can sometimes take you on an amazing journey.
Mistakes are almost always (if not always) a learning experience that eventually takes you in the right direction. Do not fear 'mistakes', embrace the chance to learn and grow.

Dominique Maez,

In Miles Davis quote he is saying that there are no such things as mistakes. That though something didn't go the way you had wanted it to or the way that you had planned that something better will come out of it.

Through his quote, Davis argues that we should be fearless towards making mistakes because there is no such thing. I believe errors are nonexistent in the sense that erring only leads an individual closer to what is “right.” Being wrong is natural and can be a moral solution.

I believe that Miles Davis in his quote is trying to make us understand that mistakes should not be taken as something negative or wrong. We should not have fear towards commiting mistakes but rather realize that our mistakes are lessons that help us for the rest of our lives.

Miles Davis argues that mistakes made are only a form of lessons learned to help something or someone become better or make wiser decisions; therefore these mistakes made become a positive experience and people shouldn't be afraid to grow while making errors through life.

I believe Miles Davis is saying that a mistake is just another learning experience. We should not fear mistakes because our mistakes are what teach us to do better. The dictionary definition of mistake is "an error in action, calculation, opinion, or judgment caused by poor reasoning, carelessness or insufficient knowledge". I believe that Davis' definition is much different. To him a mistake is more like another obstacle In life that help people structure their life In the right direction.

I think what Davis is trying to say is that people shouldn't see an error as a mistake but instead a lesson to learn from; and, therefore, they don't need to "fear mistakes" because, in his case, there's really no such thing.

I think what Miles Davis is trying to say that Mistakes are meant to happen so that one can learn from them, and since your learning from the mistake it's actually a positive experience and not a mistake.

In my opinion, the essence behind Miles Davis quote is that one should not be afraid of creating mistakes, for they obtain more value than they do harm. I believe he is saying that an individual cannot forecast a mistake, it is just an inevitable part of life. Davis is saying a mistake is not a downfall, but an opening to something positive. With error, you are shocked to high levels of self-actualization. A mistake is education; it is first step in the process to something better.

I believe Mile Davis was simply saying for every mistake, there comes a learning experience with it, so there is no need to fear making mistakes.

Miles Davis argues that the decisions that people make and the things that we experience are never really mistakes. They are in fact only different routes that people take in their lives.

I think that mistakes are suppose to happen in life. There is no one that can say for a fact that they have lived their lives without any mistakes. Though there are different magnitudes of mistakes, I believe that once a mistake occurs, people are suppose to take time and access the situation in order to figure out how they would be able to prevent it the next time. Through this understanding, people should better embrace mistakes.

I believe what Miles Davis is trying to convey in his quote is that we shouldn't be afraid of something that is inevitable in ones life, because mistakes will happen, but there is no wrong to something that will make you learn right.
