On page 125 a quote i found interesting " We don't asses evidence neutrally; we asses it in light of whatever theories we've already formed.." I found it interesting because usually we do not take evidence on account sometimes and instead we use what we know or have heard of.

To believe something simply because we are told is true, eventually goes against our nature. The nature or desire to learn more fuels our imagination which in turn leads to asking questions, and seeking answers inspite of the errors we commit in the illimination process.

I found this quote meaningful because most people are confident of what they say or do and have no doubts to anything. We have faith in the things we know because we have experienced it and know we will reach the goal we desired like an objective oneself is trying to reach and know will reach with our own knowledge.
"Other things being equal, the greater the number of people who believe something, the more likely it is to be true."
Pg. 138
This quote goes of on the saying: the more the better. Having the numbers against a person, in the end the person with the numbers win. not only does it help with people but also with research papers. the more sources a person has, the better the research paper will be.

On page 131 the quote we must query and speak and investigate and open our eyes. This quote is important because it states that we don't take the time to figure out if we are right or wrong we already have formed biases.
"Properly speaking, there is no certainty; there are only people who are certain." on page 159.
I found this qoute interesting because not only does it summarize Chapter 8 in the novel, but this qoute gives a much better explanation of being wrong and another point of wrongology. It truly shows another point of wrongness and more clear understanding of it.

Schulz writes that, "Like most of the behaviors that can lead us into error, following a confident leader is not intrinsically irrational" (Page 173).
This quote is meaningful to me because no matter what we do, we will run into troubles. We have to learn from those errors and fix them.

On page 143, Kathryn Schulz states "This relationship between communities and the beliefs is a two-way street."
Just like cars we would not drive on the opposite side, because if we do then we will cause an accident, and possibly die. Just like the accident there is society who will not accept certain ideas. Ideas will be the car and society equals the opposing lane.
"Unlike many of life’s other delights –chocolate, surfing, kissing- it does not enjoy any mainline access to our biochemistry..." (Pg. 1)
The quote explains the odd satisfaction that comes when not admitting to our own wrongs. Even though we know we are in fact wrong, it feels good to think that we are right.

"Doubt comes after belief"
(pg.167).
It is impossible to doubt an idea or person if humans do not believe or care about the subject. People start to doubt only if they believe in something that is specific.

This quote was interesting to me as we read through it in class because mistakes can be turned into something positive. There is no way to change the past. All we can do is live with it, and use mistakes made to our advantage.

This quote really got me thinking. There is so much more to just 'being wrong'. Its meaning has so much depth that a majority of people may never fully understand. Makes me realize how something so simple can be so complex.

This quote made me realize that when we go into something, we usually tend to go whole-heartedly. We have faith in ourselves, and sometimes that is impractical.

On page 180 the quote "It's not exactly true that there is nothing to fear but fear itself, since wrongness really can have clifflike consequences for our lives." I found this quote interesting because it states that being wrong can hurt us depending on what we were wrong about.

This quote is significant because it says that a person who is wrong, but thinks that they are right can be a good thing, because the person is then forced to think. They are also forced to find the right answer because nobody likes to be wrong, but being wrong isn’t always a bad thing.

The quote from page 141, "this reliance on other people's knowledge--those around us as well as those who came before us--is, on balance, a very good thing. Life is short, and most of us don't want to spend any more of it than absolutely necessary trying to independently verify the facts about turnips."
This is quote is important because Schultz is right. Nobody wants to independently learn everything there is about everything. There is no need for me to figure out all the calculations that Sir Isaac Newton did when he came up the constant for the gravitational pull of Earth.

"Other things being equal,the greater the number of people who believe something, the more likely it is to be true." (Pg. 138) I like this quote because it can be true, but not always. In some cases some people just follow with the responses of others thinking their right. They will start believing the same answer as someone else without knowing the if that other person right.
On page 150 i liked the quote "Try to do and say things only which will be agreeable do others," by Emily Post. I liked this quote because today there are many people that follow and look up to the wrong types of people instead of being themselves and having their own opinons.

On Page 22. "What makes us right is what makes us wrong". Meaning when a person belives they are right only to find out they are wrong; which makes a person then fix his or her mistakes. That's because we as humans don't like to be incorrect.

This quote is interesting because it shows a direct relationship between communities and beliefs. These two ideas go hand and hand.

Every one is dependent on other people's minds. A major portion of our decisions is based on the decisions of people around us.

It's interesting because people would follow what everybody's doing even if its wrong because well they think of it as the right thing to do when someone else is doing it which makes it ok for them as well.

Shall i even name any names. Janis cited as victims of groupthinks the kennedy Administration during the bay of pigs disaster and the Johnson Administration in Vietnam, and plenty of reacders are no doubt mentallyadding the latest Bush Administration and its prosecution of the Iraq War.
It basically means i do not have to put any ones name since it should already be self evident of all thing things in history that have passed.

in Shultz book Being Wrong She writes "Believing something on a baisis of messy,sparse, limited information is how we really err... what makes us right is what makes us wrong."
i found this quote to be really interesting seeing how people tend to make their mistakes off of things that are just plain laziness or just something that we simply jump to conclusion. although we do these things its a way of showing that we are using our minds and thinking criticaly on how take approach or do things. As stated " what makes us right is what makes us wrong." though we may think its right may not be right to others, but if a simple mistake is made you learn from it to get the right answer.

I like this quote because it actually makes you think. The point before this Schulz addresses the transition of women rights and how they are now allowed to vote and have rights.

On page 139 I found a very interesting quote that discusses the beleif that most people jump on the banwagon and beleive everything that everyone else is beleiving and or doing. Without knowing the cause some of the people in society are doing it.
